Research specialist NextWealth has appointed Emma Napier to the new role of consulting director, to support and expand the services offered by the firm.
The appointment is effective from today (5 June).
Napier was previously head of sales and proposition at Bravura and head of distribution at True Potential.
She is a non-executive director for The Verve Group and also Co-Chairwoman of the Women in Platforms Network.
NextWealth founder and managing director Heather Hopkins said: “I am excited to welcome Emma to the team. Her experience and knowledge of financial advice and adviser tech is second to none and her energy and enthusiasm make her a joy to work with.
“Having Emma on board will help us expand our business to offer bespoke consultancy alongside our well-established market research on financial advice business models, investment propositions and tech.”
Napier added: “I am absolutely thrilled to join Heather and the wonderful team at Next Wealth. We are embarking on considerable change as a sector which brings challenges and such a huge amount of opportunity.
“I am joining Next Wealth with over 30 years’ experience at the sharp end of, pretty much, most of the elements involved in distribution. I am itching to roll my sleeves up and share all that knowledge back into the industry.”
