The ADWE will collaborate with the DCSWD to:

  • Enhance the visibility of UNLV’s Workforce Development programs and efforts in the community.
  • Establish relationships with a wide variety of employer, community, and non-profit partners.

  • Build programming and collaborate widely across campus to define, develop, and deliver comprehensive workforce education opportunities and visible and impactful outcomes in this key strategic area.
  • Develop expertise around workforce and career data (i.e. using Lightcast, alumni report data, student exit survey data, Nevada GOED trend data, etc.) to drive a data-informed approach to workforce education on campus and to share trends with colleagues, community partners, and employers.

All positions in Academic Affairs contribute to our core mission: to increase enrollment and promote equitable student success.
