Veld Capital has promoted Jon Silvosa to managing director and André Braga to investment director.
Both promotions have been made within Veld’s investment team, the private credit-focused firm said in an announcement on LinkedIn.
“We are proud to announce that Jon Pita Silvosa has been promoted to managing director and André Braga to investment director,” the firm said. “These promotions are a testament to the quality of the people we have built around us.”

Silvosa has been at the firm for more than three years, having joined as an investment manager. Prior to this, he worked at AnaCap Financial Partners before the firm carved out its credit business to form Veld Capital.
Braga has been at Veld for more than four years. He also previously worked at AnaCap Financial Partners and, before that, Tristan Capital Partners.

Headquartered in London, Veld Capital was established in 2009 as the credit investment arm of AnaCap Financial Partners before becoming an independent platform in 2022. The asset-based private investment firm has raised €2.7bn (£2.4bn) in total.
