King Street Capital Management has instigated a new leadership structure as it shifts to focus resources on its core credit strategies.
Under the global alternative investment firm’s new structure, partners Domenico Lia and Jeff Rosenbaum will co-head the flagship hedge fund strategy and special situations global drawdown strategy, with Lia overseeing international investment activities and Rosenbaum responsible for Americas.

Lia, who is co-head of King Street’s London office, joined the firm in 2019 from Cerberus Capital Management.
Rosenbaum, who is based in New York, began working at King Street in 2024, having previously been president of NextEra Energy Investments, which is the direct investment arm of one of the largest utility and energy infrastructure firms in the US.
In addition, Young Choi, partner and portfolio manager of Rockford Tower Capital Management, has been appointed to head King Street’s income-focused opportunistic credit strategy.
New York-based Choi joined King Street in 2006, having previously worked at Citadel Investment Group and, before that, at Bain and Co.

King Street has also overhauled its real estate strategy, to pursue real estate investments through its core credit strategies, with a dedicated focus on real estate credit and digital infrastructure, rather than investing through standalone real estate funds.
As part of the leadership shake-up, King Street announced that partners Paul Brennan, Ed Testerman and David Walch are set to leave the firm.
“We are concentrating leadership and investing resources on the strategies where we have the deepest expertise and a clear edge,” said Brian Higgins, founder and managing partner of King Street.
“These changes reflect deliberate decisions about where we want to compete and how we want to be organised to win. We believe these enhancements will lead to superior and sustainable results for our investors.”
King Street manages $30bn (£22.2bn) in assets across public and private markets.
