Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Workforce Partnerships provides coordination, administrative, and outreach support for employer partnerships connected to apprenticeships, earn and learn initiatives, and employer engagement efforts. The role assists in the implementation of employer-driven workforce activities and assists with outreach, engagement logistics, data tracking, and student transition activities in alignment with Tri-C workforce priorities within the Workforce Partnerships Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides administrative and logistical support for employer partnerships connected to apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships and other earn-and-learn opportunities.
- Assists with the implementation of employer-led workforce engagements by supporting scheduling, documentation, and routine follow-up activities.
- Enters, updates, and maintains employer, opportunity, and engagement records in Salesforce and other tracking systems.
- Schedules and supports employer meet-and-greets, information sessions, site visits, hiring events, and recruitment activities, which may require some evenings and weekends.
- Prepares and distributes agendas, materials, and communications related to employer engagement activities.
- Responds to and routes employer inquiries to appropriate Workforce Partnerships or academic team members.
- Provides support on day-to-day coordination of apprenticeships and earn-and-learn activities in collaboration Workforce Partnerships team.
- Assists with tracking the participation, progress, and engagement milestones for apprentices and earn-and-learn participants.
- Supports outreach efforts led by the Workforce Partnerships team that connect students to apprenticeship, internship, and job placement opportunities.
- In collaboration with Director, Employer Partnerships and Apprenticeship Programs and Manager, Earn-and-Learn Initiatives, checks in with students and employers to support persistence, flag concerns, and route issues to appropriate staff.
- Provides assistance with grant reporting, documentation, and internal data requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- Associate’s degree in a related field required.
- Substantial related experience may substitute for education.
- Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in workforce development, program coordination and support, community outreach, office management, or related areas.
- Experience with data retrieval and analysis, labor market trends, student recruitment, retention, and completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience working on workforce initiatives in a professional or academic setting.
- Familiarity with workforce development initiatives.
- Proficiency with Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Salesforce, SLATE, or Recruit.

Target Starting Salary Range: $45,000 to $50,000
The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred job requirement(s).
Special Note: This position is 100% grant funded. Position funded til 01/31/2029.
