Prime Day is here again, and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. Millions of products have been discounted for Amazon’s big shopping holiday—enough to fill an expanded four-day-long event, and way too many for any one person to pore over. Luckily, I’ve got my team here at Lifehacker (and at our sister sites Mashable, CNET, and ZDNet) to help me sort through it all to find the deals that are too good to miss.

From e-readers to headphones to fitness gadgets, here are my picks for the best Prime Day deals actually worth paying attention to—a list that will only grow as I keep adding to it before the sale ends on June 26.

The AirPods Max are cheaper than I ever imagined

The AirPods Max exist for me in that rarified realm of Apple products I covet, but which are too expensive for me to consider buying. Yes, they look and by all accounts sound amazing, but even as an Apple die-hard, I can’t justify dropping $550 on headphones. But right now, they’re a whole $150 cheaper—an impressive 27% price cut for the upgraded version of Apple’s very best headphones makes them a lot more attainable.

But the AirPods Pro 3 are what I actually bought

Who am I kidding, $400 is still too much for me to spend on headphones. But $180 for the AirPods Pro 3, the latest version of Apple’s ubquitous earbuds, featuring neat upgrades like heart rate tracking and improved noise cancellation? Yes please—I needed to replace my aging Beats Fit Pros anyway.

The newest iPad Mini is $100 off

Apple devices rarely go on sale, so it’s a good idea to grab a discount when you can find one—especially on the newest models. For Prime Day, the most recent iPad Mini with the A17 Pro chip is down to $399 for the wifi-only version, 20% off the usual $500 asking price. Considering my kid is still using an iPad from 2020, you can trust this little guy will last you a long time.

The Echo Dot Max is worth the upgrade

If you’ve got a Prime membership, chances are good that your home, like mine, is littered with way too many Echo Dots—we’ve got five of them spread over two floors, collected over the course of years. Some of them are getting pretty old, which means they don’t sound as good and they lag when I’m conversing with the AI-enabled Alexa+ chatbot, which is why I recently upgraded our main living room speaker to the new Echo Dox Max. It delivers fuller, more robust sound and works great with Alexa+. It also looks a little bit like the Death Star. Not bad, especially for $65—a 35% discount.

This Blink doorbell and security camera bundle is less than $30

I’ve been using a Blink doorbell for years—it’s got a sharp camera, and it connects to my Alexa-enabled speakers, so I never fail to hear it when it rings. Right now, you can get a second-generation Blink video doorbell in a bundle with an Outdoor 4 wireless camera and the sync module that lets you save video locally, without the need to pay for a monthly subscription for just $28—that’s a wild $112 off the usual price, and an 80% discount.

The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is at its lowest price ever

I probably don’t have to tell you that the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is the best e-reader for most people. An upgraded version of the basic Kindle, it adds a larger screen, temperature-adjustable lighting, water resistance, and better battery life—and opting for the Signature Edition means you won’t see any lock screen ads. The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is currently $145, nearly 30% off the usual list price and its lowest price ever according to price tracking tools—in your choice of three colors.

The little e-reader I’d choose over the Kindle is 20% off

Yeah, you could buy a Kindle during Prime Day, but where’s the fun in that? Instead, I suggest getting the e-reader that’s so small it has a magnet so you can attach it to the back of your phone. Both the 4.3-inch Xteink X4 and the smaller 3.7-inch Xteink X3 are discounted by 20%, to $55 and $63, respectively, and either is a great choice for carrying with you wherever you go. These bare-bones devices require you to sideload your DRM-free e-books, but once you’ve got that handled, they make for the most portable e-readers…basically ever. Take one everywhere you go, and never doomscroll again. (Read more about them in my reviews of the X4 and X3.)

A massive Hisense Mini-LED TV for a (relatively) minuscule price

TVs keep getting bigger, but not necessarily cheaper, which is why it’s critical to wait for a good sale to upgrade. Prime Day is one of those times: Right now, you can grab this massive 85-inch Hisense U6 Pro Mini-LED 4K TV for $1,099, a full $900 off the usual price—and the 100-inch model is at an even bigger $1,400 discount, bringing it to $2,100. According to our friends at CNET, these TVs offer a lot of bang at a “budget” price…provided you’ve got the room for them.

What do you think so far?

Oura rings are nearly 50% off

It’s a deal Lifehacker health and fitness editor Beth Skawrecki called “insane”: The ceramic (now sold out!) and gold versions of the Oura fitness tracking ring are both nearly 50% off, a huge discount for the premium wearables. “I expected some kind of discount because this is the first Prime Day sale since the Oura Ring 5 came out, but these prices are much lower than I would have thought,” she said, so you know it’s a great time to buy.

This EGO 21-inch electric mower is a steal at 40% off

I’ve been cutting my lawn with an edge trimmer for years because I didn’t want to buy an electric mower, given my past experience with poor battery life and underpowered motors. But according to our home and garden expert Becca Lewis, the EGO 21-inch 56-volt self-propelled cordless mower can run for over an hour without needing a recharge. It’s on sale for $399, 40% off its usual price, and it comes with two 56-volt, 4-amp-hour batteries and a charger. Time to retire the weed wacker.

Our resident marathon runner’s favorite workout headphones are up to $60 off

Lifehacker fitness tech writer Meredith Dietz is a dedicated marathon runner, and she swears by the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 for all her workouts. These bone conduction headphones are typically priced around $180, and right now they’re available for as little as $119.95 (depending on the color and size you choose).

The best Apple Watch for most people is up to $120 off

The Apple Watch Series 11, normally $429, is on sale for $309. That’s for 46mm version—you can also get it for $279 (down from $399) for the 42mm size. Compared to the previous generation, the Series 11 betters its battery life, and can last up to 43 hours with the always-on display enabled (up from 36 hours for the Series 10). It will also run the new Siri AI app, coming this fall in watchOS 27.

Our pick for the best budget fitness watch is now $100 cheaper

Lifehacker health and fitness editor Beth Skawrecki has a ton of experience putting fitness wearables through their paces, and she’s previously declared the Suunto Run the best value sports fitness watch under $250—but for Prime Day, it’ll run you less than $150. For that price, you get a 1.32-inch display, a 12-day battery life, and dual-band GPS. I guess that means it’s the even best-er value fitness watch?

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart and Best Buy run Prime Day-style sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.
