Beware the bollards
There’s been a fair bit of speculation in recent months about the potential rise of artificial intelligence.
Will it get clever enough to enslave or even wipe out the human race, as it has done in countless film franchises?
Quite possibly. But perhaps, in the immediate term, we should be concerned about a seemingly more mundane threat.
Adviser Andy Rayner (or Lord Glencoe, as some of you may know him) tweeted a stark warning with the headline, “Beware the rise of the bollards,” to accompany this sinister photo. You would do well to take note.
May the best woman win
It’s always nice to be considered for an award. We should know — we’ve won many.
In this case, though, perhaps adviser Amyr Rocha Lima doesn’t quite qualify, owing to the fact… he isn’t a woman.
