How Much Does Fubo TV Cost?

With a multitude of streaming services available to consumers, it can be challenging to sift through all the options and find one that fits both your budget and your needs. For sports lovers especially, it can be difficult to find a platform that offers regional sports.

A popular streaming option is FuboTV, which offers a range of price points to satisfy subscribers looking for live sports viewing as well as local and premium channels. According to Fubo, it had 1.29 million paid subscribers in May 2023, up 22% compared with the year before.

FuboTV cost per month

FuboTV, a self-described “sports-first cable TV replacement,” offers plans ranging from $32.99 per month to $94.99 per month.

There are four plans to choose from: Latino, Pro, Elite and Premier. Most plans, except for the Latino plan, offer access to more than 150 channels.

  • The number of channels each plan offers depends on where you live and local offerings. Enter your ZIP code here to learn more about overall number of channels available and number in each plan level.

  • Fubo’s pricing seems fairly dynamic. You might want to monitor the price level for the package and add-ons you want, and sign up when you see a dip.

Latino: $32.99 per month

Fubo’s Latino plan offers Spanish-language TV at $32.99 per month. Enter your ZIP code to check the number of channels you’ll receive. You also get 250 hours of cloud DVR space and can watch Fubo on up to two screens.

Pro: $74.99 per month

Fubo Pro starts at $74.99 per month. Under that plan, you get access to watch Fubo on up to 10 screens on your home network as well as family share, which enables three additional devices outside the home. You also have up to 1,000 hours of cloud DVR space with the Pro plan.

Elite: $84.99 per month

The Elite plan, which starts at $84.99 per month, offers everything in the Pro plan plus 4K streaming, News Plus subscription and additional channels.

Premier: $94.99 per month

Fubo’s Premier plan, at $94.99 per month, includes everything in the Elite plan plus additional channels as well as Showtime live and on-demand.

Fubo add-ons

To customize the viewing experience, Fubo lets you add features and channel add-ons such as STARZ or MLB.TV. A complete list of upgrades can be found here.

How does Fubo fit into your budget?

Finding the right streaming service takes balancing the “wants” category of your budget. Using the 50/30/20 budget framework, where 50% of your income applies to needs, 30% to wants, and 20% to savings and debt repayment, Fubo would fall within the 30% category.

To free up room in your budget for a streaming service like Fubo, you can explore new ways to save money by lowering costs in other areas.

Another angle worth investigating is rewards categories if you use a credit card. Some cards offer perks for streaming services, with as much as 6% cash back.

Fubo also offers a free trial for each plan option, allowing subscribers to try before they buy. However, it does adjust the length of the free trial period periodically, often ranging from 24 hours to seven days, so be sure to check the latest offerings before signing up.

You will need to provide a credit or debit card to initiate the trial, and at the end of your free period Fubo will automatically switch you over to a paid subscription unless you cancel. When signing up, look on the checkout screen for the date and time your free trial will end, or check in the MyAccount section once you’re on the site.
