NextGen Planners has launched a new ‘techstack innovation lab’, which will be run by a team of nine industry-leading technology and innovation experts.
The goal of the lab is to create a collaborative space to “foster synergy” between the financial planning community and cutting-edge fintech developments.
NextGen said the initiative will “revolutionise” how professionals in these fields build, access and implement technology to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in their practices.
Comprised of the nine ‘techstack avengers’, the team represents a diverse array of talents and expertise.
The team is made up of: David Davies, strategy and tech hero; Jo Faith, UX and copywriting hero; Harriet Davis, change management hero; Katie Cirjak, processes hero; Sarah Challenor, back office hero; Rohit Vaish, artificial intelligence hero; Amal Jolly, artificial intelligence hero; Nicky Sevel, data and API hero and Clare Delaney, workflows hero.
With a gender-balanced composition, including six women, and representation from people of colour and various nationalities, the team brings a wealth of perspectives and experiences to the table.
This will ensure a comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of the financial planning community.
Rohan Sivajoti, director and head of partnerships at NextGen Planners, said: “We are thrilled to introduce this collaborative space where professionals from both the financial planning and fintech sectors can come together to exchange ideas, learn from one another and leverage the latest technological innovations.
“Our goal is to empower individuals and organisations with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital landscape.
“Much like in the Marvel cinematic universe, the team all have unique skills that, together, form a crack team of voices for our community to lean on.”
The launch of this collaborative space was officially announced today at NextGen’s TechStack Live event to hundreds of the financial planning community.
Immediate entry will be available through a nominal £1 payment on the platform.
This approach reflects the TechStack Avengers’ commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that valuable resources and opportunities are accessible to all.
In conjunction with the launch, a comprehensive content plan has been developed to provide users with valuable insights, resources and educational materials.
The space will kick off with a sprint on ‘How to build a GPT’.
