UK asset-based lending (ABL) specialist Leumi ABL has expanded its London sales team with appointment of Katharine Weeden (pictured) as regional sales director.

She brings nearly 30 years of experience in the ABL and broader lending markets, most recently as a director in ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance’s London team.

Prior to that, she held roles at Cadence Advisory and Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.

Leumi ABL said that she has a strong and successful track record of structuring flexible funding solutions for mid-market businesses, helping them unlock liquidity and drive growth.

Leumi ABL provides a full range of ABL facilities, including invoice discounting, stock finance, plant and machinery finance, and term loans, ranging from £5m to £50m.

“Katharine joins an industry leading team with a strong track record, broad range of products and strong client relationships; her contribution will ensure that Leumi ABL is positively positioned to deliver further growth in 2025.”

Weeden added: “I am joining Leumi ABL’s team at a dynamic time for the business as well as the sector. The team’s commitment to providing adaptable and client-focused asset-based lending solutions aligns with my experience to date, and passion for helping businesses succeed. I look forward to getting started and contributing to the continued growth of Leumi ABL.”

Leumi ABL is a division of Leumi UK Group, which is an independent subsidiary of one of Israel’s largest financial corporations.
