European peer-to-peer lending marketplace Lendermarket has now seen €500m (roughly £420m) invested on the platform, with €30m earned by its investors.
The company announced the milestones in an update this week, six years after it first launched in 2019.

It comes as investors earned an average annual return of 15.9 per cent last year, with more than €8m earned in interest.
A total of €68.5m was invested in the platform during 2024.

“Since 2019, we’ve built a platform that combines accessibility, transparency, and consistent performance,” the firm said in its update.
“Investors value the simplicity of getting started, the clarity of how their money is working, and the opportunity to diversify across multiple loan originators.”
