Monroe Capital has hired Todd Davis from Antares Capital as a director on its direct originations team.
The private credit specialist’s vice chairman and head of originations Tom Aronson said that Davis’s expertise will be “instrumental in continuing to grow our robust direct origination platform”.

Davis was previously senior vice president of capital markets at Antares Capital, responsible for executing middle-market sponsor deals. Before that he held various roles at the group’s predecessor GE Capital. He started his career as an analyst at JP Morgan.
Founded in 2004, Monroe Capital has $21.6bn (£15.9bn) of committed and managed capital. Headquartered in Chicago, the mid-market focused firm has a team of approximately 300 across 11 offices in the US, Asia and Australia.
Earlier this year, investment group Wendel acquired a minority stake in the business.
