Barnett Waddingham has bolstered its Sipp leadership team with two new hires.
Emily Crotty joins as head of Sipp risk, after Rebecca Smith took up the role of head of Sipp finance earlier this year.
Their combined experience in senior leadership roles will support BW Sipp CEO Nick Cooper, who recently took over from Simon Foster.
Both will join the Sipp senior management team.
Crotty will play a central role in leading the first line of defence risk mitigation and shaping the risk framework for BW’s SIPP services.
She joins from Embark Group, where she led the compliance advisory team and brings extensive experience supporting businesses through strategic change.
Smith is the finance business lead for BW Sipp and brings significant experience in strategic financial leadership. She will support the business in delivering growth.
Cooper said: “As we move from transformation into market growth, we need leaders who not only understand the complexities of our sector but can also shape the environment for future growth.
“Emily and Rebecca’s appointments will be crucial to strengthen our foundations as we accelerate into this next phase.”
Crotty said: “I am excited to join BW Sipp at this pivotal time. My focus will be on ensuring our risk framework supports both innovation and strong governance, so we can continue delivering a safe, high-quality service for all of our customers.”
Smith added: “BW Sipp has a clear vision for growth. My role will be focused on ensuring our financial strategy delivers this growth and enables the best outcomes for customers.”
