LBP AM European Private Markets has appointed Gabriele Perri, from Amundi, as investment director in its capital solutions division.
LBP AM’s capital solutions division designs, structures and manages bespoke investment solutions for wealth management professionals and institutional investors.
Perri joins LBP AM from Amundi Private Equity in Paris, a €20bn (£17.5bn) platform investing globally in private equity managers.
He will report to Sophie Vergez, co-head of capital solutions funds of funds, who joined in June this year, after the asset management subsidiary of La Banque Postale, LBP AM, rebranded its private assets business as LBP AM European Private Markets at the start of this year.
Perri has held various positions at Amundi Asset Management in Milan, Paris, Boston and Dublin, as risk manager and then senior risk analyst, and began his career at BNP Paribas Securities Services in Milan.
His experience spans due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and working on product launches, such as European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs), as well as supporting fundraising from both institutional and wealth clients.

Earlier this year, the capital solutions division launched its ELTIF 2.0 fund, LBPAM Private Opportunities, which had €240m in assets under management at the end of August.

Perri is the latest hire at LBP AM European Private Markets, which also named Karine Gate as head of operations – private assets, and Julie Kong as product structurer – private assets in February this year.
