In the shade lies a mini kids club-slash-play area that’s equipped with wooden toys for tinies and creative crafts for the older ones. The kind woman who runs it sets up face paints and activities from 12:30 p.m. onwards, and anyone over the age of four can be left here and looked after while parents enjoy some uninterrupted time in the sun.
In the restaurant, there’s something for everyone, and the food is top-notch. Spicy margs, veggie croquettes, and plates of catch-fresh fish load the tables while guests chat animatedly, happy in their find and embracing the ‘everyone is welcome’ vibe.
