Pemberton Asset Management has appointed Nils Behling as managing director, chief operating officer of its working capital solutions strategy, citing the continued growth of private credit.
Behling will also serve as chief operating officer of Invensa Trade, which is Pemberton’s fintech joint venture with Santander Corporate and Investment Banking.
Behling, whose experience spans private credit, technology and capital markets, previously co-founded and exited global private credit distribution platform Tradeteq, where he was chief operating officer and chief legal officer.
He has worked at Gemcorp Capital, Trafigura, Merrill Lynch, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges during his career.

“As private credit continues to grow, we are strengthening Pemberton’s Working Capital Solutions strategy and invensa to support our growth ambitions to deliver long-term value to our clients,” the European private credit manager said in a post on LinkedIn.
Pemberton recently raised $1.7bn (£1.3bn) at the final close of its debut NAV financing round, bringing the total assets raised across its NAV financing and GP solutions strategies – both first-time fundraises – to $2.7bn.
The strategy provides loans to private equity sponsors, secured against a pool of underlying portfolio companies.
