M&G has appointed Tim Page as chief compliance officer for its asset management business.
Page, who joined on 22 September, will sit on the asset management executive committee led by Joseph Pinto, chief executive of M&G Investments.
In his new role, Page will oversee compliance across M&G’s global asset management operations, ensuring the firm meets evolving regulatory requirements while pursuing international growth ambitions.
He reports to Shawn Gamble, chief risk and compliance officer at M&G Plc.
International expansion has been a strategic priority for M&G, with assets under management from external international clients rising from 37% in 2019 to 58% in 2025.
Page joins from Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he spent a decade, most recently as managing director and head of international compliance.
He oversaw compliance across EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Japan, and has a track record in building global compliance frameworks and managing regulatory change.
Pinto said: “Tim’s appointment reinforces our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance as we grow our international footprint. His global experience and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring our governance keeps pace with our ambitions.”
Page added: “I’m pleased to be joining M&G as it continues to become a truly international player, driving growth across several markets. I look forward to working with colleagues across the business to support our clients and uphold the highest standards of compliance and governance.”
Page trained as a solicitor at Norton Rose Fulbright before joining its asset management and investment funds practice in 2005.
He later worked at a property-focused fund manager and returned to Norton Rose Fulbright in 2007 before moving to Morgan Stanley in 2014.
