Raymond James Wealth Management has appointed former Legal & General executive Martina Kay as group chief people officer.
Kay will lead people strategy across Raymond James Investment Services and Charles Stanley, and will join the Raymond James Wealth Management group executive committee.
Her remit includes culture, leadership, employee experience and supporting the ongoing integration of the two businesses.
Her appointment follows the decision to bring Raymond James Investment Services and Charles Stanley under one UK legal entity – Raymond James Wealth Management Limited – in early 2026, although both brands will continue to operate in market.
Kay joins from Legal & General Investment Management where she was global HR director. She has also held senior HR roles at UBS, Schroders and BlackRock, and chaired the HR Committee at the Investment Association.
She brings extensive experience in business integration and organisational transformation across major financial institutions.
Kim Jenson, CEO of Raymond James Wealth Management, said: “At this important time in our evolution, building the right leadership team is critical.
“Martina brings deep expertise in people strategy and a strong track record of leading HR functions across major financial institutions. That experience will be invaluable as we continue to unify our business and culture.
“Our ambition is to build a firm that colleagues are proud to be part of. Having the right people strategy is essential to that ambition and to ensuring we continue to support our teams and deliver an exceptional client experience.”
