At night, you can switch between standard infrared for black-and-white video or use the built-in spotlight to capture color footage. On the plus side, it supports person, pet, and vehicle detection even without a paid subscription (which is not always the case with budget cameras). It also supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT, though Apple HomeKit is not included. The main compromise is the 15fps video and the fact that you are relying on sunlight, so placement matters. For $40, though, this is one of the simpler ways to add a wire-free outdoor camera that does not demand constant maintenance.
