Blackstone made two appointmen ts to its senior leadership team to support the acceleration of growth in its private wealth business.
Rashmi Madan, a 15-year Blackstone veteran, has been promoted to the newly created role of global head of portfolio solutions, having overseen the buildout of the EMEA private wealth business.

In the new role, Madan will lead the scale-up Blackstone’s multi-strategy solutions. The firm intends to develop several investment solutions as part of this newly formed initiative.
Meanwhile, Simona Maellare will join Blackstone as head of EMEA for private wealth, where she will lead the firm’s efforts to further expand and deepen its private wealth business across Europe and the Middle East.
Maellare was most recently global co-head of alternative capital group at UBS and brings more than 30 years of experience advising and partnering with alternative asset managers on capital raising and strategic growth across EMEA.
