Global investment firm Barings has reportedly registered its second European middle-market collateral loan obligation (CLO) with Irish regulatory authorities.
The asset manager registered the financing facility on 28 July, according to Bloomberg, after successfully pricing its first ever European private credit CLO last November.
Barings declined to comment when contacted by Alternative Credit Investor.

A middle-market or private credit CLO packages up a number of private loans with varying risk and returns.
Compared to the US, the European market for private credit CLOs is still in its infancy. Bloomberg reports that so far in 2025, the US priced 39 new issue private credit CLOs, amounting to $20.5bn (£15.4bn) in sales.
