Brooks Macdonald has appointed Andy Robinson as chief people officer.
Robinson joins from Alantra, where he was global head of human capital, helping to lead the transformation of the function to drive the firm’s culture and support the business in delivering its objectives.
His previous executive leadership roles include head of HR at Jupiter Asset Management, head of HR (UK) at UniCredit and head of HR at Henderson Global Investors.
He will also become a member of the Brooks Macdonald executive committee, reporting directly to CEO Andrea Montague.
Robinson said: “I look forward to joining Brooks Macdonald and will be working with the team to further strengthen the company’s culture that will enable our colleagues to succeed and support the business in achieving its growth ambition.”
Montague added: “I am pleased to welcome Andy to Brooks Macdonald. His wealth of experience, passion for nurturing talent and building strong cultures will help us further drive our strategy to reignite growth.”
Robinson will start his new role on Monday (10 November).
Last year, Brooks Macdonald recommitted to its ambitious plan to become a top-five wealth manager in the UK through both organic and inorganic growth.
