Job Description
The EnRich Workforce Program Navigator serves as the main point of contact for prospective students considering opportunities offered through the Workforce Equity Program. The Workforce Program Navigator guides students through the enrollment process, program completion process and provide additional connection to local employment providers. The Navigator plays a key role in communicating EnRich’s vision, distinctiveness, and the uniqueness of the opportunity to enter the workforce.
The Navigator cultivates relationships with both traditional and non-traditional students from diverse backgrounds. This position will develop a sense of belonging through providing excellent service to prospective workforce professionals during the recruitment and admissions process and throughout the program. This position serves as an intersection between Richland Community College, employment providers, and future workforce professionals.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills to be able to relate to prospective participants, both traditional and non-traditional.
- Excellent written communication skills. Proficient with report writing database systems (such as Salesforce), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s degree in Communication, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent), plus two years of experience providing support services developing or coordinating programs. Must possess strong organizational, customer service, and public speaking skills. Must maintain a current valid Illinois Driver’s license and reliable transportation. This is a grant-funded position.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
* Must be able to receive, process, and provide visual and verbal information.
* Must be able to work effectively in stressful situations.
* Provide timely response to externally/internally imposed conditions and deadlines.
* Respond to concurrent, multiple, non-related issues.
* Must be able to complete Trauma Sensitive training through Starr Commonwealth within 90 days of beginning employment.
* Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Must be willing to work beyond an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. work schedule to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. There may be irregular hours including weekend and/or evening hours. Summer hours may vary. This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule after the probationary period has been successfully completed.
