Position Summary
The FAME Coordinator reports to the Dean, Workforce and
Career and Technical Education and serves as the College’s apprenticeship liaison with the FAME chapter/board. The position is responsible
for developing and implementing a comprehensive FAME program that includes promoting enhancing relationships with existing industry sponsors
and developing new industry sponsorships to expand experiential learning and apprenticeship opportunities, recruiting and retaining students
in the program, and promoting the program through presentations and stakeholder engagement. The position manages program timelines,
implements communication strategies, maintains audit-ready documentation, ensures timely reporting of participant data, and tracks student
progress from recruitment through job placement.
POSTING DATE: MARCH 23, 2026
SALARY: Appropriate placement
on Salary Schedule E3, 03 (range: $45,220 – $62,710).
ANTICIPATED START DATE: MAY 1, 2026
This position will
be based initially at Wallace Campus in Dothan, Alabama.
More than one position in the same job classification may
be filled from the applicants for this position should another vacancy occur during the search process.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
Program Coordination
- Develop and implement program timelines,
communication plans, and recruitment and retention strategies to meet college performance expectations and support engagement with students
and industry partners. - Deliver presentations on FAME and work-based learning at high schools, college and career fairs, and other
outreach events. - Participate in activities, events, and conferences that advance program goals.
- Coordinate student
application, selection, and orientation processes. - Facilitate academic and personal support referrals for student
participants.
Data Management
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to support internal reviews and external
audits. - Collect and manage participant data, including enrollment, special populations, credential and degree completion, job
placement, and apprenticeship wages. - Monitor and document student progress from recruitment through program completion and job
placement. - Administer and compile exit surveys and program outcome data.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- An associate’s
degree in office management or related field from an accredited institution is
required. - A minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience in manufacturing, program
or project management, career/technical education, academic or career counseling, or a closely related field is
required. - Ability to travel and work non-standard hours is
required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ellucian Banner experience.
