FE fundinfo has appointed Maryam Longrus as head of private markets as the firm accelerates its expansion into the sector.
Longrus joins from US fintech Fidelity National Information Services, where she was head of new initiatives, capital markets.
In her new role, she will lead FE fundinfo’s strategy to widen the reach of its Nexus platform into private markets, connecting asset managers, wealth managers and distributors.
Her remit includes developing technology and data solutions that support clients with regulatory reporting and investor expectations, while creating greater collaboration across managers, investors and technology providers.
FE fundinfo said Longrus’s appointment reflects its commitment to extending its Nexus ecosystem into private markets, collecting and distributing private equity, private credit, real assets and other alternative investment data.
With more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, Longrus brings deep expertise in private markets along with a track record of driving innovation and the adoption of technology to support the distribution of alternative assets into the wealth market.
Commenting on her appointment, Longrus said: “Private markets are expanding rapidly, but the technology and data infrastructure supporting them has not kept pace.
“What excites me about FE fundinfo is its clear vision for solving that, connecting the pieces of private markets through data and technology that truly work for asset and wealth managers.”
Liam Healy, chief executive of FE fundinfo, said: “Maryam brings a rare combination of deep private markets knowledge and experience scaling data and technology offerings that meet the needs of our clients.”
