- Stipend/Benefits: Tuition Waived up to 24 credits & a $1000 stipend for the academic year.
Role
Summary
The Graduate Assistant will provide administrative support to the Office of Career & Professional Development. This role is
designed to provide the student with professional experience in a higher education setting while supporting the operational goals of the
department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can balance their academic workload with the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate programs, activities, and fairs sponsored by the Office
- Market and coordinate communication-related to all
programming - Approved jobs and internships posted on Handshake
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Help produce
promotional materials, such as flyers, brochures, social media content - Highly professional and willing to take the initiative
- Provide quality customer service skills when interacting with organizations and
- corporations
Qualifications
Eligibility & Requirements
- Enrollment: Must be currently accepted in a Master
program at Albertus Magnus College in one of the following areas:- Accounting (only two spots available)
- Business
Administration - Criminal Justice
- Management and Organizational Leadership
- Healthcare Administration (only two
spots available)
- Skills:
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Comfortable using various social media channels
- Detail-oriented and
organized with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks promptly - Able to adapt to change and work both independently and as a
team member - Solid computer skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Ability to multitask and work gracefully under
pressure - Basic understanding of Handshake and Excel
