Global asset manager Invesco has strengthened its focus on private markets with the appointment of Hermann Pfeifer as head of distribution for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
In his new role, Pfeifer will be responsible for Invesco’s operations in the DACH region, including its exchange traded fund business and alternative and private market investments.

Pfeifer’s appointment takes effect on 11 November, joining Invesco from JP Morgan Asset Management, where he served as country head for Germany, Austria, Central and Eastern Europe and Greece. He has also held senior positions at Amundi, Lyxor, Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas.
