Agricultural lending platform Lande, which lends to farmers in Latvia, Lithuania and Romania, saw its lending rise slightly in July, increasing by just over €200m (£173m).
The peer-to-peer lending platform issued €1,619,984 in loans across 45 projects in July, lending €720,690 in Latvia, €459,400 in Romania and €439,714 in Lithuania.

This was up from €1,417,200 issued across 42 projects in June.
Lande investors earned a total of €144,989 in interest in July, with the all-time total reaching €3.25m. 117 new investors registered on the platform during the month.

“At the end of July there were 1,582 projects funded through the Lande platform, of which 809 had been repaid in full while 773 were active,” the company said.
