LBP AM has appointed Émilie Goirand as head of environmental, social and governance (ESG) corporate debt and unlisted solutions.
The French asset manager has stated that Goirand will coordinate ESG analysis and implementation for its private corporate debt and unlisted multi-management strategies.
In her role, Goirand will lead ESG due diligence, support the structuring of new products and develop ESG monitoring and dialogue with counterparties.

From 2022, Goirand worked as chief sustainability officer at investment company MV Credit in Paris and London. Prior to that she worked at Axa Investment Managers as a credit analyst for leveraged loans and private debt strategies, while also leading ESG integration projects.
Émilie Goirand will report to Héléna Charrier, head of socially responsible investment solutions at LBP AM.

“Émilie Goirand brings dual expertise in corporate debt investment and ESG integration within this asset class,” said Charrier. “Her experience, particularly her knowledge of the ESG challenges specific to unlisted assets, will contribute to the quality of our private market investment strategies and the enhancement of our ESG management tools.”
Alongside the appointment of Goirand, LBP AM also appointed Nicolas Bénéton as an ESG investment specialist, who will contribute to the development of new multi-investor and dedicated ESG strategies across all asset classes.
