Law firm Macfarlanes has announced nine new partners across the real estate, private capital, and corporate and M&A sectors.
From 1 April 2025, Iskra Doukova (pictured) and Mark Stichbury will become partners in the private client practice.
Doukova advises international families and trustees on cross-border tax, structuring, succession planning, family governance and transparency initiatives. Meanwhile, Stichbury advises internationally based individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices and trustees on cross-border tax, trust and succession planning issues.

Elsewhere, Pinar Celebi will become a finance partner, Caja Griesenbach will be a partner in competition, and Greg James and Alice Temkin will be corporate and M&A partners.
Celebi acts on cross-border finance transactions, with particular experience in leveraged acquisition finance, advising private capital firms, corporate borrowers and investment banks on multi-layered debt structures.
Griesenbach acts on UK and European competition law matters, including merger control, antitrust investigations and private enforcement actions.
James advises on a broad range of corporate matters including public and private M&A, joint ventures, ECM transactions, restructurings and other general corporate advisory work, while Temkin is a corporate lawyer advising on domestic and cross-border matters, including private company M&A and private equity transactions, group restructurings and general corporate advisory matters.

Sarah Ling will become a tax and reward partner, Sindhuja Shriananda will be a partner in real estate, and Jacob Ward will be a partner in litigation and dispute resolution.
Ling advises companies, partnerships and individuals on UK and cross-border tax matters, while Shriananda has expertise across a wide variety of commercial real estate matters with a particular focus on development in the living and life sciences sectors.
Ward specialises in domestic and international litigation, with a particular focus on trust disputes, international succession and estate disputes and fraud.
