Partners Group has partnered with BBVA to launch an evergreen private markets fund in Spain, which will invest in private credit among other asset classes.
The new fund, BBVA Open to Partners Group Mercados Privados IX, FIL, will invest exclusively in Partners Group–led opportunities through an evergreen structure. It will be targeted at the Spanish financial services group’s private banking clients.

The fund will build a portfolio across regions, financing stages and asset classes, including private equity, credit and real assets. It will also offer access to direct, co-investment, primary and secondary opportunities.
