Quilter Cheviot has appointed Colin Monton as head of client development to support the expansion of its business owner exit proposition.
He joins the investment management firm from Rathbone Greenbank Investments where he served as head of business development.
In his new role, Monton will be responsible for driving growth via both private clients and professional connections and intermediaries.
He said: “Business owners and entrepreneurs are facing a challenging time right now following increased regulatory and tax burdens, as well as continuing uncertainty around future fiscal events.
“As a result, it is vital we have the tools and services in place to help them navigate this uncertain environment.”
Monton brings significant experience in delivering wealth management services to high-net-worth clients, businesses and charities.
