Location & Eligibility
This position is based in Sydney, Australia. We welcome applications from candidates of all
nationalities; Australian citizenship is not required. Candidates must be willing and eligible to relocate to Sydney and obtain appropriate
work authorization (e.g., a working visa).
Compensation

Position Overview
In this role, the candidate will collaborate with internal teams to support both internship host company relations and student
experience. Responsibilities include researching and sourcing host companies, conducting outreach, building partner relationships, and
coordinating placements aligned with student goals. The role also serves as a key point of contact for students, providing support from
pre-placement through program completion, responding to inquiries, and assisting with logistics. This position requires strong communication
and organization and offers hands-on experience in global internship coordination and participant engagement.
Key
Responsibilities
- Internship Sourcing and Host Company Liaisons
- Conduct research to identify potential host
companies
that align with student interests, program goals, and academic requirements - Perform outreach to prospective organizations
via
email, phone, and professional platforms - Develop and pitch internship program opportunities to new and existing partners
- Build and maintain relationships with company representatives to secure internship placements
- Track outreach efforts,
leads, and
partnership progress using internal systems - Stay informed on industry trends and emerging companies to expand internship
offerings - Support ongoing partnership management and ensure a positive experience
Student Support, Communication
& Program
Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for students throughout the internship lifecycle, from
pre-placement through
program completion - Respond to student inquiries via email and other communication channels in a timely and
professional manner - Support the internship placement process by assisting with student communications, documentation, and
coordination between
students and host companies - Assist with on-the-ground or in-program support, including check-ins, issue
resolution, and
coordination with host organizations as needed
- Help resolve student concerns related to health,
safety, housing, or
internship experiences in collaboration with internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of student
communications and
support interactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong
communication and interpersonal
skills - Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple
inquiries - Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic office tools
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience
in customer service, student services, or support roles - Interest in international education or student
engagement - Experience working with diverse populations
