Alternative asset manager Trinity Capital, which specialises in private credit, has announced it has funded $306m (£228m) of total investments and originated $395m of new commitments during the first quarter of 2026.
In Q1 this year, the company’s investments funded comprised $236m in secured loans, $54m in equipment financings and $16m in warrant and equity investments.

The company’s originated new commitments comprised $304m in secured loans, $75m in equipment financings and $16m in equity investments. It funded around $176m to 10 new portfolio companies, $129m to 20 existing portfolio companies and $1m to multi-sector holdings.
Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Trinity Capital sources and structures investments in growth-oriented companies across sponsor finance, equipment finance, tech lending, asset-based lending, and life sciences. The firm will release its complete 2026 financial results on 6 May 2026.
