Why we love it: Treehouse design, hot tub, firepit, canoe available for use
Tucked on a 20-acre pond and nestled between two giant pine trees, this swanky treehouse puts you in a sprawling forest and wetland. Take the canoe out on your seemingly private pond by morning, hike the nearby trails by midday, and rejuvenate your joints in the cedar hot tub by sunset. Given its raised, in-the-trees design, you’ll find a balcony that overlooks the water’s horizon where you can use the table and chairs to enjoy the view with the company of birdsong. With highly likely wildlife sights of gentle cows, ducks, eagles, turtles, and more, nothing emulates the Green Mountain State quite like this. While the space can fit up to four guests, it’s best for two (or two traveling with kiddies). Guests have traveled to this romantic oasis for mini honeymoon escapes, anniversary weekends, and all respites in between. For the wintertime, take advantage of the uber close Jay Peak Resort as your ski mountain.
