- Collaborate with faculty, advisors, staff and partners to identify internship, mentorship, and work-based learning opportunities for students and, in coordination with faculty, connect interested to students to available opportunities
- Develop and conduct workshops for students on topics related to career preparation and success which may include workplace professionalism, resumes and interviews, and effective communications.
- Collaborate with Library Learning Hub staff on identification and acquisition of physical and electronic career services materials for placement in Library Learning Hub Collection.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to create high impact experiences for students in areas of career readiness.
Other Areas of Responsibility
- Collaborate in developing and implementing workshops for new students
- Represent the Library Learning Hub on various College committees and groups
- Assist with orientation and other student support programs as needed
- Serve as a substitute at the LLH service desk when needed
This position supervises part-time temporary tutors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or a field with curriculum related to duties of the position; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education or Experience
- Master’s degree in education or a field with curriculum related to duties of the position
- Experience working specifically with post-secondary educational programs
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule. Hours and schedule may vary depending on the needs of the program.
