The Career and Experiential Learning Advisor for Finance
Pathways provides high-touch, industry informed advising and coaching to students pursuing careers in finance and investment banking. This
role integrates advising with experiential learning, ensuring students’ progress through defined career milestones and are prepared for
highly competitive recruiting processes.

Key Functions and Expected Performance
- Student Advising & Coaching
- Provide
individualized and group advising aligned with finance recruiting timelines - Support students in developing technical, behavioral,
and strategic readiness for finance roles - Guide students through milestone progression from exploration to
placement
- Provide
- Experiential Integration
- Connect students to relevant internships, projects, and experiential
opportunities - Help students translate experiences into compelling professional narratives
- Preparation
Programming - Deliver workshops on technical interviews, financial modeling basics, and recruiting strategy
- Support case
preparation and interview readiness
- Connect students to relevant internships, projects, and experiential
- Data & Outcomes Tracking
- Monitor student progress and engagement
- Track
placement outcomes and advising effectiveness
Supervisory Relationships
This position does not
have supervisory responsibility and reports administratively and functionally to the Senior Director of Finance & Investment Banking
Pathways.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
Experience and
Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in finance, recruiting, or career advising is necessary.
- Strong coaching and
communication skills. - Knowledge of finance recruiting processes preferred.
