British alternative asset manager Pollen Street Capital has provided a credit facility to Zintra Capital, a Spanish private credit lender.
Zintra Capital specialises in short-term alternative financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and is the largest provider of its kind in Spain, according to the firm.
The credit facility will support Zintra Capital’s growth and further reinforce Pollen Street’s focus on financing European specialty finance platforms.

Pollen Street’s facility provides financing into Vera, a Spanish securitisation vehicle that acquires Promissory Notes Programmes, short-term notarised instruments with immediate enforceability rights.
According to Pollen Street, the facility will benefit from an asset-level AvalMadrid guarantee, a Spanish government-backed instrument, and is supported by junior cash equity from the borrower.

“Zintra Capital has built a genuinely differentiated position in Spanish SME finance: a specialist origination franchise, a rigorous credit process, and strong institutional backing from CIMD Intermoney,” said Francesco Cilloni, partner at Pollen Street. “This facility gives us exposure to a well-structured, government-guaranteed asset class and we are pleased to continue to expand our relationship with the great team at Zintra”.
