11 Best Rental Homes and Airbnbs in Las Vegas (2023)

11 Best Rental Homes and Airbnbs in Las Vegas (2023)

Las Vegas plays host to more than 150,000 hotel rooms, from extravagant penthouse suites high above the Strip to funky rooms in downtown Vegas and everything in between. But there’s more to Sin City than its notorious hotels. Vacation rentals give Vegas visitors a wider array of options, whether it be an entire home with a pool or a penthouse apartment with views of the Bellagio Fountains. There are some compromises—rental units aren’t available in any of the casino resorts, and typically, you will have to drive or rideshare to get to Las Vegas hotspots. But for group getaways and family-friendly options, a Vegas vacation rental makes a lot of sense, both from a budget and privacy standpoint.

FAQ:

Where should I stay in Las Vegas?

The Las Vegas Strip is where most of the casinos and iconic sights are found, but because of the city’s short-term rental laws, there are some restrictions around the availability of Airbnbs in this location. Namely, they must be at least 2,500 feet away from a resort hotel and 660 feet from any other short-term residential rental. However, there are several condos within walking distance—so if being close to the Strip is a requirement for your vacation, look for these types of properties. Some of these units are also an extension of larger casino resorts like MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, and Palms Las Vegas. Another great option is downtown Las Vegas and the suburb of Henderson, about 20 minutes from the Strip—where you’ll find larger homes with numerous bedrooms, full kitchens, pools, and built-in recreation such as tennis and basketball courts.

What’s the best month to visit Las Vegas?

The fall or early spring are the best times to visit Las Vegas because the desert weather has not yet reached its famed extremities—it’s neither too hot nor too cold. But this being Las Vegas, there’s a major event happening in the city nearly every month, whether it be a holiday, a big headliner, or a major sporting event, like this coming year’s Super Bowl—hosting it is a first for the city. Whatever time of year you go, you’ll surely find plenty of ways to have fun.

How much does it cost to rent a house or apartment in Las Vegas?

Much like hotel rooms in Vegas, the prices for house and apartment rentals fluctuate depending on the demand. Since the rental units are bigger than hotel rooms and equipped with more amenities, the prices tend to be more expensive than hotel rooms, ranging from $300 to $1,500 a night.

We’ve vetted these listings based on Superhost status, ratings, amenities, location, previous guest reviews, and decor.
