Waynesburg University is currently seeking applicants for an Academic and Career Support Specialist. Applications will be accepted until
the position is filled. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of
two years of experience in student success, academic support, career development, disability services, counseling, athlete support, or
related fields. A minimum of two years of experience working in a higher education setting preferred. The Academic and Career Support
Specialist supports undergraduate academic progression and career readiness through coordinated academic support services, case management,
and career programming implementation. This role monitors student progress, supports retention, and academic success strategies, and
maintains consistent and timely documentation and records. Ability to manage a caseload of students through proactive outreach,
individualized support plans, and coordinated referrals. An understanding of career development support and best practices, and ability to
guide students in career-decision making and development. Candidates must be committed both personally and professionally to the mission and
