Arrow Global has appointed Diego Gracia as chief executive of Spain to strengthen the group’s Iberian platform.
Gracia, who reports into Enrico Sanna, chief executive platforms and group chief operating officer, will lead delivery of the pan-European investment manager’s origination strategy in Spain, in turn accelerating the growth of its local platforms and building its market presence.

His focus will be on increasing investment activity, improving local coverage and positioning the business to capture opportunities across credit, lending and real estate.
The group’s assets under management across Portugal and Spain top €16bn (£13.9bn), and it operates eight local platforms with a team of more than 1,000.
Arrow’s offering in Spain includes master servicing platform Amitra, which is active in Portugal as well, and Elba, its specialist lending platform focused on direct lending, bridging, development and investment loans.
He joins from Lapithus-Apollo Global Management, where he was managing director and head of special situations real estate Europe.

Prior to this, he worked at Bain Capital where he was responsible for real estate developments across Europe and for building several captive investment and asset management platforms centred on special situations real estate and Iberian opportunities.

“With Amitra and Elba providing strong foundations on the ground, he is ideally placed to accelerate our origination strategy and expand our capabilities across credit, lending and real estate in Spain.”
The private credit and real estate manager manages €125bn of assets across its funds and platforms, and has a presence in eight countries.
