Alternative credit investments firm BTG Pactual Global Alternatives, a division of BTG Pactual, has appointed Vincent Ingato as senior portfolio manager and Brian O’Leary as co-head of research within its performing credit platform.
These hires form part of the continued expansion of the firm’s performing credit strategy, following the appointment of Chris Allen as head of performing credit in October 2025.
Ingato brings more than three decades of experience in leveraged finance and collateralised loan obligation (CLO) portfolio management. He has previously held senior portfolio management roles at Jefferies Credit Partners, ZAIS Group and CVC Credit Partners.

O’Leary joins from ZAIS Group, where he served as managing director of leveraged finance for over a decade. He will oversee fundamental credit analysis and lead the platform’s research effort across performing credit investments.
Both will also serve on the platform’s Investment Committee, providing oversight across investment strategy, portfolio construction and risk management.

“Vinnie and Brian bring highly complementary expertise across credit markets,” said Allen.

We believe this will position us as a top-tier, repeat issuer in the CLO market.”
