UK investment manager Delancey has appointed Fiera Real Estate’s Emma Murray as director of capital strategies as the firm looks to expand its credit and real estate equity platform.
In her role, Murray will work across Delancey’s capital strategies business, spanning both debt and equity, across existing mandates, new opportunities and separately managed accounts, the firm said.
Murray joins the firm from Fiera Real Estate, where she served as director of business development and capital raising from 2015. During her time there, she raised £2.1bn for both UK-only and pan-European strategies, according to Delancey.

“With an expanding real estate equity and credit platform, and full lifecycle capabilities, Delancey has rightly built an outstanding reputation as a UK specialist and partner of choice for domestic and global institutional capital,” said Murray.
Delancey has recently strengthened its real estate credit platform through the launch of lending vehicle AlbionArc Capital, a £1bn strategic partnership with Aware Super and a lending partnership with Cynergy Bank.

Murray’s appointment comes as Delancey continues to expand its team, following the appointment of Lesley Davison as managing director of capital markets in March.
“Emma’s experience and skill in developing and shaping fund strategies will be invaluable as we aim to build on our recent momentum and establish ourselves as a ‘one-stop shop’ for global investors wanting to access opportunities across UK real estate,” said Stafford Lancaster, chief executive of Delancey.
