DWS has appointed JB Park as head of alternatives client coverage for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) as the asset manager looks to expand its reach among investors in the region.
In the role, Park will be responsible for sales and investor relations across Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan, with a focus on real estate, infrastructure and private credit strategies.
“Asia Pacific remains an important region for our global alternatives franchise,” said Chuck Fiedler, global head of alternatives coverage at DWS. “JB’s extensive experience across investment execution, capital raising and client engagement will support our continued focus to deepen our Alternatives offering and support clients across the region.”

Before joining DWS, Park worked at LaSalle Investment Management, where he held a number of roles, most recently serving as head of investor relations for APAC. Prior to that, he was head of alternative investments for Korea at Standard Chartered Bank.
DWS, which manages €1.9tn (£1.6tn) in assets, has recently expanded its platform in the Middle East and strengthened its private credit division, particularly in asset-based finance.
