First Eagle Investments has appointed Edward Berry as managing director for alternative credit.
Based in London, Berry will lead the firm’s alternative credit platform and support global distribution efforts across institutional and wealth management channels.
He will help expand the reach of the firm’s Napier Park Alternative Credit franchise, with a focus on developing private credit investments across direct lending, structured credit and real assets, said First Eagle.

In addition, Berry will broaden access to Diamond Hill fixed income strategies for clients outside the US and support First Eagle’s relationship with Amundi, helping to drive growth across international markets, the firm added.
Berry will report to Rémi Casals, head of international wealth solutions. He joins First Eagle from AlbaCore Capital, where he served as head of UK and global consultant relations, overseeing North American distribution.
