All-in-one: Netflix with ads is included in Sky's Essential TV package

If you’re looking for a new broadband deal it’s worth considering Sky, which costs £35 a month and bundles a TV package that includes Netflix and Sky Atlantic.

Plus if you buy before the end of the day on 25 September you’ll get a £30 voucher to spend at your choice of retailer.

Broadband deals with vouchers crop up regularly as network providers battle to win customers. They’re usually only available to new customers – it’s important to read all the terms and conditions of the deal before going ahead.

The network provider Openreach says if you use the internet mainly for streaming, video calls and working from home – and there’s no more than four of you in the house – speeds of around 50-76Mbps should be enough.

Speeds of 75Mbps* or 300Mbps* both cost £35 monthly with Sky Essential TV – but beware the monthly price may rise during the term. The contract lasts for 24 months and there are no set-up fees.

You can choose different speeds – or add extra services – but this costs more monthly.

When it comes to TV, you get a box that plugs straight into your TV and connects to your wifi, allowing you to stream shows such as The Last of Us and House of the Dragon.

All-in-one: Netflix with ads is included in Sky’s Essential TV package

What Sky broadband packages come with a £30 voucher?

Both Sky’s Essential TV and Ultimate TV broadband packages have the £30 voucher included.

Essential TV has Netflix with ads, Sky Atlantic and Discovery+, plus nearly 100 channels:

Ultimate TV adds Sky Max, U&Gold, MTV and more:

You’ll get the £30 voucher after you take out the deal. It can take up to 120 days to receive it, because the purchase needs to be verified.

You can spend the voucher at the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S, John Lewis and Currys.

For an alternative internet-only deal, we like Community Fibre 150 Mbps* which costs just £14 a month over 24 months. Find out more in our guide to the best broadband deals.

You can also compare broadband packages that are available at your address with our partner, Broadband Choices.

Using the comparison tool, you can find deals that are right for you – for example, if you’d prefer to take out Sky Cinema or Sky Sports too, these packages should show in your results.

These also come with a £30 voucher until 25 September.

Find the fastest and cheapest broadband – and see if you can save

Broadband, TV and phone contracts are notoriously sticky, with customers often allowing deals to run on for many years while providers raise prices.

But it may be possible for you to get faster broadband, a better TV package and an improved phone deal, while saving money each month.

It is always worth comparing prices to see if you can save – particularly as the cost of living crisis bites.

This is Money has partnered with Broadband Choices to offer readers the chance to easily search for the best and cheapest deals for their broadband, mobile and TV.
