Comedian Keith Farnan (pictured) is hosting this year’s Alternative Credit Awards, which take place on 19 November 2025 at the Royal Lancaster London.
A former solicitor who once defended clients on Death Row, Farnan has emerged as one of the most in-demand comedians for clubs and corporate events worldwide.
Originally from Ireland, Farnan’s comedy quickly captivated audiences at The Laughter Lounge in Dublin, before he moved to London, becoming a well-known figure in comedy clubs across the UK.
He is celebrated for mixing the personal with the political, tackling social issues with insight and sharp wit.

The Sunday Times described Farnan as “artful, satirical… with a lightness of touch and a hefty helping of roguish Celtic charm.”
Farnan has performed at major festivals around the globe, including sold-out runs at Edinburgh, Montreal’s Just for Laughs, Amsterdam and Hong Kong.
He has appeared on BBC’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Showtime’s Live from Amsterdam, and RTE’s The Social, as well as on Comedy Central’s Live at the Comedy Store and BBCNI’s One Night Stand.

He also reached international audiences on the Canadian Comedy Network’s Just For Laughs All Access and on Holland’s top-rated show The Comedy Factory.
The Alternative Credit Awards, hosted by Alternative Credit Investor, recognise the most influential fund managers, specialist lenders and service providers in the alternative credit space.
