Quilter Cheviot has announced an affinity partnership with Virtualnonexecs.com, in conjunction with its financial planning arm – Quilter Private Client Advisers.
The partnership makes Quilter Cheviot the exclusive wealth management partner for Virtualnonexecs.com’s 18,000 members of non-executive directors and business owners.
Virtualnonexecs.com is a community for non-executive directors and board advisers to network.
Quilter Cheviot will also provide education, materials, webinars and support across a variety of wealth management services including savings and investments, tax management, retirement planning, portfolio management, and protection.
This move is part of the discretionary wealth manager’s plans to “further develop growth partnerships” to provide bespoke wealth management services to high-net-worth clients.
Quilter Cheviot managing director Michelle Andrews said: “Partnerships such as these are vital to help promote the benefits of discretionary investment management and financial advice and we are delighted to be working closely with Virtualnonexecs.com.
“We’re excited to work with their large and growing membership base of business owners and non-executive directors to support them as required, whilst also benefitting from their knowledge and expertise.”
Virtualnonexecs.com executive chairperson Ian Wright added: “We are delighted to partner with Quilter Cheviot. Our membership advises over 30,000 boards and many founders/business owners have minimal long-term financial plans.
“These founders are often heading towards a transaction or exit and we hear time and again that ‘financial advice is only offered at the time of a transaction’ but few firms build relationships during the months and years beforehand.
“Quilter Cheviot’s commitment to partnering with our community will be hugely well received by our members and the companies they advise.”
Yesterday (16 August) Quilter launched a new client communication guide to help financial advisers deliver messages to clients more effectively, as part of its Consumer Duty support.
It used behavioural science principles to create a framework for advisers to assist them to meet the Consumer Duty’s ‘Consumer Understanding’ outcome.
Quilter has named the framework CLEAR, which is an acronym of Capture my attention, Lighten the load, Explain what it means for me, Arrange the content simply and Reassure me.
Within each element of CLEAR, Quilter has provided advisers with two behavioural science techniques.
