“Alessandro’s appointment is a significant step forward in our capital solutions strategy,” Mauro Moretti, founder and chief executive at Three Hills said. “As part of our business plan, strengthening our local presence in France and Italy has been a clear priority: they are among Europe’s largest and most dynamic middle markets, where we have already demonstrated our ability to add real value.”
Prior to joining Three Hills, Gonella served as a senior director within the large-cap team at French sovereign investment fund Bpifrance.
“Three Hills has built a differentiated platform in the European middle market, with a genuinely flexible and solutions-oriented approach that resonates strongly with ambitious entrepreneurs and management teams,” Gonella said. “I look forward to bringing that breadth of capability to more exceptional businesses in France and Italy, and to contributing to the continued growth of the firm.”
