Job Description
This career coach will serve as the primary
advising resource for high school students by guiding Uniform Certificate of General Studies (UCGS) pathways and initiating a Coordinated
Care Network that aligns school staff, families, and Laurel Ridge Community College partners. Facilitates dual enrollment processes by
coordinating registration, supporting college applications, ensuring completion of required documentation, and communicating consistently
with students, families, and staff. Advises students on academic and career planning, including career assessments, postsecondary pathways,
workforce entry, and participation in work-based learning experiences. Maintains current knowledge of college programs, completes required
training and reporting, and collaborates with school and college personnel to ensure effective dual enrollment
implementation.
This position will recruit for both Kettle Run High School and Liberty High School.
WAGE Compensation:
The hourly pay rate for this position is $22.50 per hour. The position is part-time
and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational

Qualifications
- Experience utilizing oral and written communication skills in presentations and reports
- Computer technology experience- Word, Excel, and other commonly used platforms
- Proven subject matter knowledge, which may be
evidenced by training, experience, and/or credentials.
Additional Considerations
- Experience
administering and interpreting assessments. - Experience conducting workshops for small groups.
- Demonstrated proficiency
with computer software, and able to learn new software quickly. - Demonstrated ability to work well with others.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous secondary school experience, preferably in a high
school setting, or related professional experiences
